Platform Transparency
Last updated: 15 September 2026
This page explains how OnMyWay works as a technical matching platform, how reporting and review work, and where you can find the related rules and contact details.
1. What OnMyWay is
OnMyWay is a technical matching platform. It helps users find and coordinate rides, shared journeys and opportunities to carry permitted items along routes that already fit.
OnMyWay is not a carrier, transport company, travel agency or payment provider. OnMyWay does not itself provide transportation services and does not process payments between users.
2. Direct arrangements between users
Users decide for themselves whether to make contact, agree a trip or item-carrying arrangement, and how to handle payment. Agreements and payments take place directly between the persons involved.
The driver sets any proposed price. OnMyWay does not set, control or regulate prices and is not involved in payment.
A technical match, offer or confirmation on OnMyWay does not mean that OnMyWay is a party to the private arrangement between users.
3. What you can report
Through Report content or behaviour, you can report specific content or conduct that you consider illegal or that may violate the OnMyWay Terms of Use or Safety & Community Rules.
You may report in particular:
- allegedly illegal content, products, services or conduct;
- fraud, deception, identity misuse or attempts to circumvent safety measures;
- threats, harassment, hate speech, discrimination or violence;
- dangerous conduct connected with a ride;
- prohibited, dangerous or incorrectly described items;
- other content or conduct that may endanger people, animals, property or platform safety.
The reporting page is not an emergency channel. If there is immediate danger, contact the local emergency or law-enforcement authorities without delay.
4. How reports are reviewed
Reports submitted through OnMyWay are reviewed by a human administrator on the basis of the information available.
OnMyWay processes reports diligently, objectively, non-discriminatorily and non-arbitrarily. Where needed, OnMyWay may ask for additional information so that a report can be assessed properly.
Submitting a report does not automatically result in removal of content or a sanction. OnMyWay takes account of the rights and legitimate interests of all affected persons.
5. Possible moderation decisions
Depending on the outcome of the review, possible measures include in particular:
- no action where a violation cannot be established;
- a request for clarification or correction;
- restriction of visibility or removal of content;
- a warning or restriction of particular features;
- temporary suspension or termination of an account;
- preservation of relevant information;
- disclosure to competent authorities where required or permitted by law;
- other proportionate measures to protect individuals and the platform.
6. How you can appeal
If you disagree with a moderation decision, you can request a free internal review through Appeal a decision.
Appeals are reviewed by an authorised person, not by an automated system. Please provide the case or decision reference, explain why you consider the decision incorrect, and state the outcome you are requesting.
Any rights to lodge complaints with competent authorities or seek out-of-court or judicial remedies remain unaffected where applicable. Using the internal appeal process is not a prerequisite for those remedies.
7. No automated moderation today
OnMyWay does not currently use automated moderation or automated decision-making for report handling, moderation measures or appeals.
Final moderation and appeal decisions are currently made by human administrators. Technical matching and ordinary platform functions are separate from these moderation decisions.
8. Misuse of the reporting system
Please submit reports only in good faith. The fact that OnMyWay reaches a different assessment after review does not by itself make a report abusive.
Manifestly unfounded, knowingly false or abusive reports may be rejected. Manipulated evidence, threats or other misuse may result in proportionate measures under the Terms of Use and applicable law.
9. Contact
